Achieving work-life balance can mean different things to different people, as it is a highly personal and subjective concept.

Work-life balance means finding a healthy equilibrium that allows individuals to achieve success and happiness in all areas of their lives.

Achieving work-life balance is crucial for maintaining a healthy and happy life. Without it, people risk burning out, experiencing chronic stress, and sacrificing their quality of life.

Overworking or overly prioritising the needs of other people and neglecting self-care can lead to mental and physical health issues. Furthermore, long-term stress can impact productivity and creativity, leading to a decrease in work quality and job satisfaction.

A healthy work-life balance not only benefits the individual but also the organization they work for. When employees are well-rested, motivated, and happy with their personal lives, they are more productive and engaged at work. They are less likely to experience burnout and turnover, reducing recruitment and training costs for the company.
